Thank you to all who came out to support the Haiti relief efforts at FUEL the CURE's Happy Hours for Haiti in Philadelphia, New York City, and the Mainline! With your help, we raised over $2,200 for St. Damien Hospital, a free pediatric hospital in Port-Au-Prince.
The 2nd annual benefit provided young professionals with a fun
night out on the town to mingle with friends, meet new people, and most
importantly give back to a great cause. FUEL the CURE was excited to join the fight against breast cancer by donating all
proceeds from the event to Breastcancer.org, the number one online resource for breast
health and breast cancer information.
Thank you to all of those who helped us "fight childhood cancer, one cup at a time." Volunteers helped sell Alex's Lemonade at stands stationed throughout Philadelphia. Afterwards FUEL the CURE hosted a party at Downey's Restaurant overlooking Penn's Landing at Front & South Streets. All proceeds went to Alex's Lemonade Stand for childhood cancer research.
We are proud to announce that the Inaugural FUEL the CURE Event attracted some 300 individuals from throughout the East coast to help raise money for a great cause. With the help of ticket purchases and donations associated with this event, FUEL the CURE donated over $26,000 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
